What does pet insurance not cover?

Not included in the pet insurance are, for example

  • Vaccinations
  • Food
  • Food supplements
  • Parasite protection
  • Treatments without illness or accident (e.g. voluntary preventive care)
  • Dental restoration
  • Castration including chemical castration

Further exclusions in accordance with Articles 13 & 15 PTV 2009 or other conditions
(e.g. therapeutically necessary castration Art. 15 & 27 PTV 2009)
